This Recliner Action Springs RS130 is also known as a recliner power spring, footrest spring, coil spring or spiral spring and is frequently used on action style (swivels, gliders & rockers) recliner chairs. This recliner mechanism spring is suitable for replacing broken springs or lost springs on many variations of active recliner chairs.

The Power Spring operates (opens) the footrest when the handle or cable release trigger is operated. A Power Spring is usually fitted to ACTIVE recliner mechanisms such as fixed rockers, fixed gliders, swivel recliners, swivel rockers and swivel gliders. The spring needs to be strong enough to open the footrest fully but not so strong that it is difficult to close. Additionally footrest springs need to be strong enough to take continuous opening and closing.
