SuperTak™ High Performance Aerosol Adhesive is a fast tack, fast grab, low soak-in spray adhesive. Clear and non-yellowing and with high strength bond, and short tack time. Good temperature and water resistance.
Recommended Uses:
- Fabric and textile applications where durable heavy duty bonding is required such as lining fabrics, leather, bonding carpet, fixing furniture foam and highly loaded fabric joints such as lifting straps.
- Suitable for many materials such as laminates, foam, felt, carpets and carpet tiles, fabrics, cardboard, rubber, sheet vinyl and most plastics to themselves and a wide variety of substrates including wood, particle board, metal, concrete, brickwork, stone, glass etc.
- Ideal for use in contract flooring, exhibitions, carpet laying, furniture manufacture, re-upholstering, laminating, veneering, shop fitting, joinery, boat and caravan fitting or refurbishment.
- SUPERTAK HS will bond most types of polyethylene (Polythene) but a test should be carried out to confirm, as some grades contain slip agents which prevent bonding.
- Ideal for motor-home and marine fit-out work.
- Colour: Natural
- Viscosity: Sprayable
- Composition: Synthetic rubber/resin
- Application Temperature: 15 to 25°C
- Tack Time: Approx. 1 - 2 minutes
- Open time: 20 minutes
- Full Cure: High strength after 24 hours, final bond strength can take up to 7 days
- Coverage: 100 to 200 m²/17 kg canister, depending on surface and application method. Absorbent surfaces may need two coats.
LIMITATIONS - Not suitable for polypropylene or Teflon.
- Not suitable for plasticized PVC.
- Do not use on copper or brass.
- Do not use on expanded polystyrene foam.
